Rosmedia Launches Distributive IPTV Service Protected by SecureMedia

OLYMPIA, LONDON, UK — IPTV World Forum — SecureMedia, the technology leader in open content protection software for secure video and multimedia delivery over IP networks, today announced that Rosmedia, a leading IPTV Operator based in St. Petersburg, Russia and allied with RosTelecom, Russia’s National Telephone Carrier, has successfully launched their new IPTV service protected by SecureMedia’s Encryptonite ONE™ System CA/DRM (conditional access/digital rights management) technology.

This leading-edge tiered network, with a presence in St Petersburg and Moscow, provides service to both individuals and to community system operators powered by Netris’ carrier-class platform, IPSoft iVision Hosted Edition and IPSoft iStream video server.
