800,000 subscribers for HBO Now

Charter adds 29,000 residential video customers in 4Q 2015
Feb 4, 2016 – Charter Communications has reported results for the three and twelve months ended December 31, 2015. Residential video customers increased by 29,000 in the fourth quarter of 2015, versus a loss of 3,000 in the year-ago period.

U.S. pay-TV providers lose 190,000 subscribers in 3Q 2015
Nov 16, 2015 – Leichtman Research Group (LRG) has found that the thirteen largest pay-TV providers in the US -- representing about 95% of the market -- lost about 190,000 net video subscribers in 3Q 2015, compared to a loss of about 155,000 subscribers in 3Q 2014.

Time Warner Cable begins TWC TV Roku trial in New York

Charter residential video customers up 12,000 in 3Q 2015
Oct 29, 2015 – Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) has reported results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2015. Residential video customers increased by 12,000 in the third quarter of 2015, versus a loss of 9,000 in the year-ago period.

Pay TV operators to add 200 million subscribers by 2020
Oct 8, 2015 – Pay TV subscriptions for 338 operators across 89 countries will increase by 200 million from a collective 704 million in 2014 to 904 million by 2020, according to a report from Digital TV Research. The report estimates that 29 operators had more than 5 million paying subs by end-2014.
