India revises timeline for Cable TV Digitization
Dec 23, 2016 – India's Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is extending the cut-off date for Phase IV of Cable TV Digitization to 31st March, 2017 due to uncertainty in the market caused by pending court cases and slow progress in STB installation.

Digitization Reaches 67% in India's Phase II Cities

Nov 9, 2011 – TRAI has released its 'Indian Telecom Services Performance Indicator Report' for the quarter ending June 2011. On 30.6.2011, the reported subscriber base of India's 6 private DTH licensees was 38.5 million, up from 35.56 million on 31.3.2011.
