Housed in a tiny package, the cost-effective MicroTuner MT2066 single-chip broadband tuner enables multi-tuner architectures in China’s advanced cable equipment designs
BEIJING & PLANO, Texas — Microtune®, Inc. (NASDAQ: TUNE) today announced that Shanghai Digivision Ltd., a leading company in the Chinese digital television (DTV) industry, selected the Microtune MT2066 single-chip broadband tuner for use in its advanced high-definition cable set-top boxes for the Chinese market.
“Our local design, sales and support teams in China have worked with Digivision to streamline its design process and achieve industry-leading performance.”
Based on the Company’s MicroTuner™ platform, the MT2066 chip delivers exceptionally high performance while being priced competitively for high-volume set-top box production.
