Ireland to complete switch to digital TV on 24th October, 2012
Oct 14, 2011 – Ireland's Minister for Communications has announced Wednesday 24th October, 2012 as the official date of completion of the country's digital TV switchover, when the analogue TV network in Ireland will be switched off.

Government publishes Major Report on TV Viewing Methods in Ireland
May 16, 2011 – Ireland's Communications Minister has published a Report on TV viewing methods in Ireland. The report surveyed 1,100 TV households. The report was prepared to assist the Department of Communications plan for analogue switch off in Ireland.
