Semiconductor industry set for record sales in 1H 2014

March Chip Sales Rebound Slightly from February
May 1, 2009 – Worldwide sales of semiconductors for the first quarter of 2009 were $44.0 billion, a 29.9% decline from the first quarter of 2008 when sales were $62.8 billion. Sales declined by 15.7% from the fourth quarter of 2008 when sales were $52.2 billion.
