Pay TV subscriptions in Portugal up 1.9% YoY in 2Q 2024
Sep 17, 2024 – According to Anacom, at the end of Q2 2024, there were 4.6 million pay TV subscribers in Portugal, up 86,000 year-on-year. The growth rate was the lowest (+1.9%) since the end of 2013.

1st half 2023 pay TV subscriptions in Portugal up 2.6% YoY
Oct 9, 2023 – According to Anacom, at the end of 1st half 2023 there were 4.5 million pay TV subscribers in Portugal, 117,000 more than in the same half of 2022. Pay TV is available in 97.3% of households.

Jan 6, 2023 – According to Anacom, in the 3rd quarter of 2022 4.5 million people in Portugal were pay-TV subscribers, 134 thousand (3.1%) more than in the same period of 2021. MEO held the highest share at 41%.
