Germany proposes to end its analogue satellite TV in 2012
Dec 14, 2009 – Germany's media regulatory authorities (ALM) are proposing the end of analogue TV via satellite in the country by April 30, 2012. More than 70% of satellite households in Germany already receive their programs digitally.

More than half of Germany's households now have digital TV
Sep 8, 2009 – The German regulatory authorities (ALM) have released their 2009 report on the status of digitisation in Germany. By mid-2009, more than half of German TV households (55 per cent) had at least one digital mode of reception at their disposal.
