Interop Event on IPTV, Geneva, 20-23 July 2010
Mar 24, 2010 – The first IPTV interop event will demonstrate the state of maturity and industry adoption of ITU-T standards for IPTV. Manufacturers of STBs, content servers and other equipment are invited to showcase their products and test for interoperability.

OKI Develops Audience Rating Information System for IPTV

IPTV Focus Group online standards compendium
Apr 16, 2008 – The proceedings of the IPTV Focus Group (IPTV FG) have been collected in an online document. They are the result of 20 months hard work by the Focus Group which has now been passed on to the IPTV-GSI (global standards initiative).

Japan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Establishes IPTV Special Committee
Mar 6, 2008 – In January 2008, the ITU-T established its IPTV Global Standard Initiative. In response to this, MIC decided to establish a new IPTV special committee to enhance the Telecommunications Council review structure for IPTV global standardization.

ITU announces first global set of standards for IPTV
