Bharti Telemedia To Launch DTH Operations by Q4 2007-08
Aug 7, 2007 – Bharti Telemedia, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel Ltd., today announced that it plans to launch the Direct To Home (DTH) [satellite TV broadcast] services by the last quarter of FY 2007-08. The company has received the Letter of Intent (LoI) for commencing its DTH services from the Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
