Cisco, Motorola and NDS Take Control of DCAS
Jun 6, 2008 – Motorola (NYSE: MOT), Cisco Systems (Nasdaq: CSCO) and NDS Group (Nasdaq: NNDS) have taken over the architecture work and some degree of the implementation of the downloadable conditional access system (DCAS) project initially managed by PolyCipher.

Kudelski Group to acquire EmbedICs, Inc.
Feb 8, 2008 – The Kudelski Group (SWX Swiss Exchange: KUD) has announced its agreement to acquire EmbedICs, Inc, a US-based embedded software, cryptography and fabless semiconductor design firm delivering state-of-the-art security solutions for the Digital TV market.
