Broadcast and cable show signs of revival in U.S.
Sep 15, 2022 – Nielsen's (NYSE: NLSN) monthly TV and streaming snapshot has revealed that streaming represented 35% of TV consumption in the U.S. in August. Broadcast and cable gained in August, with shares at 22.1% and 34.5%, respectively.

U.S. SVOD revenues expected to plateau from 2024
Aug 30, 2022 – According to Digital TV Research, U.S. SVOD revenues will grow by $14 billion to $56 billion in 2024. However, growth is expected to be almost flat from 2024 to 2027 due to price competition and lower ARPUs from Netflix's hybrid AVOD-SVOD tier.

Aug 12, 2022 – Leichtman Research Group (LRG) has found that the largest pay-TV providers in the U.S. lost about 1,925,000 net video subscribers in 2Q 2022, compared to a pro forma net loss of 1,235,000 in 2Q 2021.

May 17, 2022 – Leichtman Research Group (LRG) has found that the largest pay TV providers in the U.S. lost about 1,955,000 net video subscribers in 1Q 2022, compared to a pro forma net loss of 1,910,000 in 1Q 2021, and 1,960,000 in 1Q 2020.

First TVs powered by TiVo Stream OS expected in late 2023/early 2024
