Arabsat Badr-8 satellite successfully launched
May 27, 2023 – Airbus-built Arabsat Badr-8 has been successfully launched from Cape Canaveral. Badr-8 will provide connectivity at 26°E for users in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and central Asia.

BADR-6 satellite at 26°E out of action
Feb 6, 2023 – DTH services on BADR-6 experienced an outage on February 6 with Arabsat implementing a plan to restore services using backup capacity. The satellite broadcasts TV to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

France Médias Monde renews Arabsat satellite distribution deal

Helwa TV channel launches on Arabsat's BADR-6

Arabsat signs Badr–8 satellite contract with Airbus

Arabsat 6A successfully launched
Apr 12, 2019 – Arabsat 6A has been successfully launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida on a Falcon-Heavy rocket. The satellite, manufactured by Lockheed Martin, is to be placed in the exclusive orbit of Arabsat at 30.5 degrees East.

Hellas Sat 4 successfully launched
Feb 7, 2019 – Hellas Sat has announced that the Hellas Sat 4 has been successfully launched. Hellas Sat 4 is a Ku-band satellite that will be positioned at 39°E to provide coverage over Europe, the Middle East and Southern Africa. The satellite is expected to commence service in Q3 2019.

Arianespace to launch Hellas Sat 3 and GSAT-17 on June 28
