France Médias Monde renews Arabsat satellite distribution deal
Monday, January 16th, 2023Arabsat and France Médias Monde (FMM) extend their partnership for Satellite Distribution Across MENA
Arabsat and FMM group have strengthened their strategic relationship with the renewal of the satellite distribution contract for broadcasting France 24 TV SD TV channels and Radios (RFI Radio and MC Doualiya) owned by the group, on Arabsat Badr-4 satellite, the only satellite that reaches MENA region & Europe under one coverage. The renewal also included the F24 HD Channels (F24 Arabic, English & French) who are exclusive on Arabsat.
Mr. Alhamedi M. Alanezi, Arabsat President & CEO, expressed his happiness to tighten the bonds with FMM group during his visit on September 16th to the Group premises in Paris, “We are pleased with this visit to strengthen and prolong our strategic partnership with FMM and continue to distribute their channels to all their Arab viewers across MENA & Europe, also to emphasize our keen endeavor to bring the best satellite channels to our video neighborhood” . “Arabsat is proud to host the topmost watched global news channels exclusively on our satellites.” said Mr. Alanezi
From their side, FMM group Director of International Development and Commercial Resources Mr. Serge Schick said “We are delighted to renew our contract with Arabsat who have accompanied France 24 since its launch, contributing to the channel’s success. Thanks to this agreement, France 24 is widely available to viewers in 3 languages in both SD and HD, exclusively on BADR-4, right across the region”
