Vodafone TV customers down 656,000 in 1Q 2024
May 14, 2024 – VodafoneGroup has announced FY24 results for the year ended 31 March 2024. TV customers in Germany fell 653,000 in the quarter owing to changes in bulk TV contracting regulations for MDUs.

NOS Portugal adds 250 pay TV subscribers in 1Q 2024
May 14, 2024 – NOS has releases results for the first quarter of 2024. Fixed access pay TV continued to grow with 4,100 net adds in 1Q24 just offsetting the decline in lower revenue legacy DTH services.

1st half 2023 pay TV subscriptions in Portugal up 2.6% YoY
Oct 9, 2023 – According to Anacom, at the end of 1st half 2023 there were 4.5 million pay TV subscribers in Portugal, 117,000 more than in the same half of 2022. Pay TV is available in 97.3% of households.

NOS pay TV subscribers steady at 1.665 million in 1Q 2023
Apr 26, 2023 – NOS has released results for the period ended March 31, 2023. Fixed Pay TV subscribers grew by 7.5 thousand in the quarter to 1.442 million. Pay TV DTH subscribers fell 6.2 thousand to 223.7 thousand.

Pay TV subscriptions in Portugal up 136,000 in 2022
Apr 14, 2023 – According to Anacom, at the end of 2022 96.4% of households in Portugal had pay-TV equating to 4.5 million subscribers, 136 thousand (+3.1%) more than in the previous year.

Portugal pay-TV subscribers up 3.1% Y-o-Y in 3Q 2022
Jan 6, 2023 – According to Anacom, in the 3rd quarter of 2022 4.5 million people in Portugal were pay-TV subscribers, 134 thousand (3.1%) more than in the same period of 2021. MEO held the highest share at 41%.

SkyShowtime to launch in the Netherlands and Portugal on 25 October
