Sky Stream available in Italy from June 3rd

Sky Stream, the new box is born. Choosing what to watch has never been easier

Available from 3 June, a new box that integrates all Sky content, that of the main streaming apps and the main free-to-air channels into a single interface. Its beating heart is the Entertainment OS software which brings the Sky Glass interface to all TVs. Sky Stream is simple from every point of view: just connect it to the internet to make every TV even smarter.

Having more and more content available has given us much more choice, but how many times have we wasted time looking for content to watch? In a world where time is precious, Sky Stream now makes everything simpler and more immediate. It is in fact the only box that integrates content, both live and on demand, from Sky, the main free-to-air channels and apps. And from June 3rd, choosing from the many contents available will be quick and easy. Sky Stream brings the simple and intuitive interface of Sky Glass to your home screen. The Entertainment OS software – developed thanks to Comcast’s cutting-edge technology – is in fact the same as the Sky Glass TVs but is now available in a small and handy box that transforms the television experience of all TVs equipped with an HDMI port. Every television will thus become even smarter. The time spent searching for content will therefore become a distant memory and it will no longer be necessary to know which platform that series or film is available on. With Sky Stream, all Sky content from the main apps – including Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, DAZN, RaiPlay, Discovery+, Paramount+, Apple TV+ and Mediaset Infinity – as well as the main free-to-air channels, will finally be visible in a single interface, also controllable by voice. For example, just say the name of your favorite actor to see his films and series available on the various platforms appear all together.

Sky Stream is simple in every way

Everything will always be at hand between the various rails starting from the homepage, without having to switch from one app to another or navigate to different interfaces. To ensure you don’t miss even a minute of your favorite programme, it will also be possible to pause the TV and, with the Restart function, restart the program on air from the beginning, even live and on the main free-to-air channels. Creating your own personalized schedule becomes child’s play. Each member of the family will have a personal playlist at their disposal, where they can collect their favorite contents from all platforms and access them at any time. Sky Stream also supports the 4K standard so you can enjoy the emotions live on Sky Sport 4K and see the many on-demand content available in maximum definition.

Having Sky Stream is really easy: it can be installed in a few minutes, has small dimensions, is extremely light and easily connects to any TV. It doesn’t need a satellite dish or the intervention of a technician, you receive it directly at home and to start watching your favorite contents just connect it to your home network.

Added to all this are Sky Wifi, the most stable fixed network in Italy according to Ookla®, and the new mobile offer Sky Mobile powered by Fastweb.
