May 29, 2024 – Orange France has launched its latest set-top box, the STB 6, powered by SoftAtHome, bringing the voice control into the living room. The box is powered by a more energy-efficient Broadcom chipset.

Five million pirates in the Nordics
May 28, 2024 – According to Mediavision, 25% of all 15-74-year-olds in the Nordics have downloaded or illegally streamed films, series or live sports in the last month, equating to ~5 million pirates in the Nordics.

Sky Stream available in Italy from June 3rd

Cyfrowy Polsat contract pay TV RGUs down 147,000 YoY in Q1
May 22, 2024 – Cyfrowy Polsat has released results for the 3 months ended 31 March 2024. Contract pay TV RGUs decreased by 147,000 YoY to finish at 4,804 thousand. Prepaid pay TV RGUs were up 2,000 YoY to 123,000.

Deutsche Telekom TV subscribers up 101,000 in 1Q 2024
May 16, 2024 – Deutsche Telekom has published its results for Q1 2024. In the quarter, the company's Germany TV customer base grew by 73,000 to 4.4 million, with the rest of Europe up 28,000 at 4.3 million.

Vodafone TV customers down 656,000 in 1Q 2024
May 14, 2024 – VodafoneGroup has announced FY24 results for the year ended 31 March 2024. TV customers in Germany fell 653,000 in the quarter owing to changes in bulk TV contracting regulations for MDUs.

NOS Portugal adds 250 pay TV subscribers in 1Q 2024
