CAST.ERA plans 5G-ATSC 3.0 launches in the U.S. and Korea
Apr 30, 2021 – CAST.ERA palns to introduce 5G-ATSC 3.0 technology to the U.S. and Korea by the end of this year. The technology will enable the broadcasting of UHD video with low-to-zero latency to TVs and mobile devices.

Cambodia adopts Korea's T-DMB for mobile TV

IPTV subscribers in Korea hit 800,000
Sep 16, 2009 – The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) has said that the total number of IPTV subscribers for KT (Korea Telecom), LG Dacom and SK Broadband reached 806,184 households on Monday, September 14th, having passed the 800,000 mark the day before.

Korea to switch off analogue TV in three counties
Sep 3, 2009 – The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) has said that analogue TV services in Danyang, Uljin and Gangjin will be switched-off in the second half of 2010. Jeju Island will follow in 2011.

Norway Mobile TV DMB service to launch
May 14, 2009 – South Korean technology will be used in Norway to provide a digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) mobile television service. The service is to be launched in Oslo this week by Norsk mobil-TV AS (NMTV).
