Viaplay subscribers up 60% YoY in 1Q 2023
Apr 25, 2023 – Viaplay Group AB has released its Q1 2023 interim report. At period-end, Viaplay paying subscribers were up 60% year-on-year to 7,643k (4,783k) with 325k subscribers added in the quarter.

Tele2 Digital TV subscribers down 9k in 1Q 2023
Apr 21, 2023 – Tele2 (Stockholm: TEL2 A; TEL2 B) has announced results for Q1 2023. Sweden Consumer was flat in the quarter as growth in Mobile, Fixed broadband and Digital TV Cable & Fiber was offset by a decline in legacy services.

Viaplay paying subscribers up 83% in 2022
Feb 14, 2023 – Viaplay has released its interim report for the January-December period. In 2022, the Viaplay paying subscriber base grew 83% YoY to 7,318k (4,005) with 890k subscribers added in the final quarter.

TVOD in Sweden reaches record levels in 2022

Over four million SVOD subscriptions in Denmark
Dec 13, 2022 – According to Mediavision analysis of the Danish TV and streaming market, the number of paid subscriptions in Denmark now exceeds four million, with more than half a million new subscriptions being added in the past 12 months.

Viaplay app to be pre-installed on Hisense Smart TVs
