Sri Lanka allocates money for DVB-T transition
Friday, August 28th, 2009Plans are being made by Sri Lanka’s Mass Media and Information Ministry to introduce Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) using DVB-T transmission in the country next year. Rs. 150 million ($1.3 million) has been allocated to both the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) and Independent Television Network (ITN) in the 2010 budget.
