Parasat Cable TV goes digital in Mindanao
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — Mindanao cable television operator, Parasat Cable TV, has launched its digital television platform in Cagayan de Oro City, a first in the Philippines outside Metro Manila.
Subscribers will have 24 months to transition to the digital platform but those choosing to upgrade now will get 28 additional channels immediately and have over 100 channels by the end of the year.
Parasat will use the TVS Challenger Platform digital CATV transmission system from Transparent Video Systems Inc. (TVS) for the service.
