IDTV to Debut World's First Portable Digital TV with AMOLED Display at CES
Tuesday, January 5th, 2010SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. — 2010 International CES — Innovative DTV Solutions, Inc. (IDTV) will debut the world’s first portable digital 3.4″ TV incorporating AMOLED display technology at CES. AMOLED displays are considered the screens of the future. The 3.4″ myGOtv is a personal “pocket TV” featuring superior quality viewing in the palm of your hand versus LCD displays. Best of all, you may watch broadcast TV almost anywhere for free. The product is targeted for use outdoors, at events or games, in emergency situations, student dorms and in-home.
With continued environmental pressure to reduce power consumption, AMOLED technology is a key solution. AMOLED (Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) displays provide 1.5 times brighter pictures than LCD displays (especially under the natural sun), improved contrast ratio for clearer images and readability, wider viewing angles, faster response with moving pictures, longer life, and lower power consumption. Coupled with better reception quality, rechargeable Li-poly battery, user-friendly menus and slim design, these second generation products are creating lots of interest.
Chris Lee, IDTV – General Manager/USA, commented, “We are introducing our Company and our current family of myGOtv portable digital TV products to the US retail market at CES. Our goal is to build a solid brand through retail partners by demonstrating our ability to provide niche, personal and portable products, like the 3.4″ AMOLED pocket TV.”
