Dolby Digital Plus available on Tata Sky HD PVR broadcast service in India

(NYSE: DLB) today announced a collaboration with Tata Sky Ltd. supporting Dolby® Digital Plus as the audio codec for Tata Sky+ HD, the new-generation personal video recorder (PVR). The Tata Sky+ HD PVR delivers stunning high-definition (HD) picture quality in 1080i resolution with Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound capability.
