EICTA views to extending IEC 62216-1 standard to HD receiver and transmission functionalities

This specification identifies all key changes in IEC 62216-1 at the textual level to extend it to cover HD receiver and transmission functionality. Nevertheless it may not be complete in terms of identifying all changes in the text of IEC 62216-1 to make it fully consistent in terms of the difference between SD and HD receivers and transmissions, meaning that the interpretation of the HD addendum should be done with some care.
