Argentina to go with ISDB-T for digital terrestrial
Wednesday, August 26th, 2009According to statements made by Brazil’s Communications Minister, Hélio Costa, the Japanese ISDB-T standard used in his country will also be adopted by Argentina.
Helio Costa said that Argentina’s Minister of Communications, Lisandro Salas, had confirmed the decision by phone. He also said that the official announcement will be made during a meeting between President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, at this Friday’s UNASUR meeting.
