Romania approves analogue to digital TV transition strategy

The strategy for transition of terrestrial television from analogue to digital, as proposed by Romania’s Ministerul Comunicaţiilor şi Societăţii Informaţionale (MCSI), was approved by the government on October 7th.

The strategy targets the completion of transition to DVB-T DTT by January 1, 2012.
