Proprietary Technology Developed by AccessKey Aids in Development of This Breakthrough Entertainment Component

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — AccessKey IP, Inc. (OTCBB:AKYI), developer, designer and producer of advanced entertainment and communication devices, announced today that its entire end-to-end Open Internet Broadcasting (OIB), is fully functional and ready for market. The implemented Set-Top Box contains both local terrestrial digital broadcast reception and AccessKey’s patented Open Internet Broadcast technology is all embedded within.

“A workable solution providing total security, dependable OIB and the ability to secure premium content and live streams has previously been unobtainable. We now have a fully-functional, secure delivery system capable of bringing HD (High Definition) content to all our users,” said Craig Erickson VP of Technology. “Our system can reliably ID the user and deliver CAS (Conditional Access System) secured content anywhere the Internet ‘lives.’ This is revolutionary to the industry. As opposed to limited IPTV with other applications, consumers will have the option of utilizing the superior AccessKey IP OIB solution.”

We plan to present this technology to major studios and content providers. Our goals are twofold; first, to obtain studio approvals to provide premium content over the Internet, and second, to license our technology and delivery system for distribution of premium content. This is a major step in the advancement of OIB delivery for real-time streams and video on demand (VOD). This can only be accomplished with effective protection and a guaranteed ID of customers.

Currently, the only ID of end users is derived from the MAC and the IP address. Alternatively, with OIB, this protection is inadequate as MAC and IP can be spoofed. We provide a foolproof solution to allow true OIB and valid customer identification. AKYI is currently arranging meetings with studios to demo our patent pending technology.
