HANA and CABA Partner to Promote Growth in the Home Networking Industry
Monday, October 8th, 2007BEAVERTON, Ore. — The High-Definition Audio-Video Network Alliance (HANA) and the Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) announced today that they have formed a liaison to promote HD networking within the home.
“CABA is dedicated to promoting technology and integrated systems for the automation of homes and buildings in North America,” said Ronald J. Zimmer, CABA President & CEO. “HANA’s focus on bringing HD networking technology in a way that is easy for consumers to understand and connect is a natural fit for CABA.”
“We are pleased to partner with CABA in the home technology and automation industry,” said Erik Ploof, HANA Marketing Chair. “We are working together to expand our marketing outreach as well as exploring opportunities to participate in a home networking pilot program.”
HANA is a cross-industry alliance of content owner, service provider, consumer electronics and IT companies dedicated to providing consumer with a simple way to connect and enjoy premium quality HD entertainment in the home. CABA is North America’s only industry association dedicated to providing information, education, and networking opportunities relating to home and building automation.
