Emitel begins broadcasting on Poland's second DVB-T multiplex

Emitel has concluded contracts with commercial broadcasters Polsat, TVN, TV4 and TV Puls for transmission on Poland’s second DVB-T multiplex (MUX2). MUX2 will include eight channels when it reaches full nationwide coverage in July 2011.

The first transmitters, in Warsaw (Palace of Culture – PKiN, Raszyn), Poznań, Zielona Góra and Å»agań, have been operating since September 30th.
