Zoran Demos DTV, Set-Top Box and Silicon Tuner Platforms at Computex 2011

SUNNYVALE, CA — Zoran Corporation (NASDAQ: ZRAN) announced it is demonstrating its latest Internet connected and mobile product platforms for global consumer electronics manufacturers at Computex 2011 at the Grand Hyatt Taipei.

Internet connected Smart TV product platforms

Zoran’s Internet connected high definition flat panel television platforms are optimized for manufacturers shipping to North and South America, Europe, China, Japan and other regions, where there is growing demand for popular online applications such as Browser, Skype TV and Android Smart TV technology-based connected applications.

“At Computex, we are demonstrating our new digital television platforms and frame rate conversion technologies for manufacturers that want to deliver the highest quality video while also supporting the most popular applications in Internet connected Smart TV products shipping to global consumers. We are especially pleased to show our SupraHD® Dual-Core 1.2Ghz processor platform with 3D graphics processing for Smart TV applications. Optimized Set-top box platforms for Pay Satellite & Cable

Zoran’s new Standard and High Definition platforms for worldwide operators are optimized for pay satellite and cable set-top box manufacturers for global markets under brands such as Cisco, Homecast, Humax, Samsung and others. In addition, Zoran’s extensive portfolio of tuner solutions for set top boxes, cable modems and gateway products will be displayed along with innovative Triple-tuners for DOCSIS 3.0 platforms.
