SiTune Launches Low Power Satellite CMOS TV Tuner

SAN JOSE, Calif. — SiTune Corporation, a leader in CMOS radio-frequency (RF), mixed signal and signal processing solutions for broadcasting, cable and satellite television, today announced its latest state of the art low power and low cost Zero IF Tuner for Satellite receivers.

STN-35T5000 is a highly integrated 900 MHz – 2.150GHz Tuner with small footprint that delivers best signal reception and linearity performance in Satellite TV standards (DVB-S/S2 and ABS-S).

STN-35T5000 completes SiTune portfolio towards being an all-standard CMOS TV Tuner vendor. Other products contributing to this family are STN55T4400, a 150mW power Analog/Digital LOW-IF TV Tuner and, the STN55T4800 which is a Dual Tuner Single-die device for the C/C or T/C applications. SiTune will soon announce other cutting edge products from this family.

With 250mW and a 4×4 QFN package, STN-35T5000 offers the lowest cost and power while meeting all the tough standards in Satellite such as DVB-S, DVB-S2 and ABS-S.

Limited Engineering Samples and evaluation kits are available now with production release in Q4 2011.
