Half of German households to have internet-connected TVs in 2016

According to Goldmedia Innovation, at the end of 2010 some 4 million TV households had televisions that were connected to the internet, either directly or via an external box. They expect that number to reach 5.6 million this year and 20 million, half of all households, in 2016 – an annual average growth rate of 31 percent.
