BTC Bahamas IPTV trial to begin in December

BTC, the main telecommunications provider in the Bahamas, has announced that following an upgrade to its network, it will begin testing a TV service in Bimini in December.
The company is spending $65 million on its infrastructure this year, including mobile upgrades that will bring increased coverage and capacity through 24 new macro sites and 107 new LTE sites giving BTC 99% coverage throughout the country for an improved roaming experience.
BTC is the largest provider of electronic communications services in The Bahamas and operates fixed, mobile and broadband networks.
