BTC Bahamas IPTV trial to begin in December
Wednesday, November 12th, 2014BTC, the main telecommunications provider in the Bahamas, has announced that following an upgrade to its network, it will begin testing a TV service in Bimini in December.
The company is spending $65 million on its infrastructure this year, including mobile upgrades that will bring increased coverage and capacity through 24 new macro sites and 107 new LTE sites giving BTC 99% coverage throughout the country for an improved roaming experience.
BTC is the largest provider of electronic communications services in The Bahamas and operates fixed, mobile and broadband networks.
