WASHINGTON, DC – The NAB Show will expand its IPTV offerings with a new conference series and super session that will provide telecommunications and wireless professionals with insight into converging technologies, state-of-the-art concepts and equipment for IPTV and other next generation video business. Telephony and Broadcast Engineering Magazine, in conjunction with NAB, will also feature an IPTV Pavilion showcasing the latest products and services centered on content distribution and delivery. The events will take place April 14-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.

“IPTV was the number one searched term and one of the most popular segments during last year’s NAB Show and we’ve seen a huge demand for ongoing education and information,” said Chris Brown, executive vice president of conventions and business operations at NAB. “In expanding our offerings for IPTV we are not only addressing this demand but looking to provide unique insight to telecom providers as they grapple with the issues and opportunities surrounding the deployment of next generation video networks.”
