Germany's 1&1 launches IPTV service
Thursday, January 29th, 2015German ISP 1&1 has begun to re-sell Deutsche Telekom’s Entertain IPTV service to its VDSL broadband customers. The service ‘Digital TV – provided by Telekom’ has been available since January 20th, 2015. The basic package consists of around 100 channels with 20 in high definition. Additional thematic and international packages are available at additional cost.
Customers are required to have at least a 1&1 Doppel-Flat 50Mbps (VDSL) contract to receive the service.
1&1 Digital TV subscriber can also access a video-on-demand service, called Videoload, with over 15,000 films and TV episodes.
