PARIS / MEXICO — Spideo, leader in content recommendation and analytics for Cable/IPTV operators and OTT platforms announced today that Televisa’s SVOD service BLIM had selected and successfully implemented its solutions to enhance personalization and discovery for their users. Thanks to Spideo’s recommendation solutions, Blim’s subscribers will be enjoying a fully personalized experience, from the homepage throughout the navigation on the platform, as well as smart and relevant suggestions for movies, TV shows and premium content.
And this is just a start – Mood discovery and advanced Thematic lists are the next steps of this collaboration aiming to build more trust with the users by bringing explained, humanized and expert guidance within the service.
“We are very happy to work with Spideo and be able to bring an enhanced video experience to our users. Our collaboration has been seamless, from the very fast and easy integration to the end result which already makes a real difference in terms of transformation, engagement and exposure on the platform” said Enrique Jaime, Head of Product at Televisa.
“We are proud to be partnering with Televisa and help them achieve two main goals – make it easy and fun for subscribers to find and discover relevant content to watch, and keep using the service thanks to the personalized experience.” said Gabriel Mandelbaum, CEO of Spideo.
“In order to provide high quality recommendation services, you need smart and relevant data and powerful algorithms. We systematically create both so our technologies can help Televisa better understand their users and, consequently, increase views, engagement, retention, customer values and their content’s exposure” said Thibault D’Orso, COO of Spideo.
As a 6 year old company, Spideo has built its technologies on a deep knowledge of the recommendation challenges, offering its modular toolbox and expertise to platforms such as CanalPlay, Arte, Fandangonow or Cinepolis Klic.
