Parks Associates: Nearly Two-thirds of U.S. Broadband Households Bought a CE Product in 2017
DALLAS — New research from Parks Associate finds 65% of U.S. broadband households bought at least one CE device in 2017. ‘360 View: CE Adoption and Trends’ reports that U.S. broadband households now own an average of 8.6 connected computing, mobile, and entertainment devices.
“Purchase intentions for smart speakers with a personal assistant have increased year-over-year, reflecting consumer interest in voice-first technologies. This product category is positioned as a gateway to drive adoption of more smart home devices in the home,” said Jennifer Kent, Director, Research Quality & Product Development, Parks Associates.
