KT (CEO Kim Young-seop) announced that it will launch ‘Genie TV Tab 3’, a tablet-type IPTV terminal, on the July 4.

The Genie TV Tab series is Korea’s first tablet-type IPTV terminal. The newly introduced Tab 3 is characterized by increased convenience with a larger 11-inch screen size and lighter weight compared to its predecessor. KT launched Tab 2 in August 23 after its first launch in 2021.

Genie TV Tab 3 is in graphite color and has a factory price of 368,500 won (VAT included).

Genie TV Tab 3 is a product that allows customers to use KT IPTV services (watching live channels, VOD replays, Kids Land, etc.) through KT Wi-Fi in their homes and enjoy various contents such as OTT and Internet web surfing. am.

In particular, Genie TV Tab 3 supports Kids Land content through the Genie TV app, making it suitable for children’s education. It can also be used as an e-book reader through the library app of Millie, the reading platform with the most subscribers.

Existing KT IPTV subscribers can use this device as an additional TV for 8,800 won per month on the TV plan (based on multiple terminals with a 3-year Genie TV Essence contract). Customers who only wish to purchase a terminal can subscribe to KT’s mobile plan, ‘Samsung Choice,’ and purchase it more cheaply by receiving a discount of 144,000 won (based on a 2-year contract) on the terminal installment principal during the contract period.

Genie TV Tab 3 can be purchased and signed up for through channels such as KT stores nationwide, official online mall KT.com, and customer center.
