Insys Video Technologies Announces API Integration with Amazon Web Services for Personalized Ad Insertion

DÜBENDORF, Switzerland — Insys Video Technologies has announced API integration across all of its solutions with AWS Elemental MediaTailor from Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Insys Video Technologies provides a range of solutions and services enabling media companies to deliver and play live and recorded videos on any network, while keeping content secure and ensuring high quality. Thanks to integration with AWS Elemental MediaTailor, Insys can now enable its clients to deliver individually targeted advertising for end-users into their video streams.

AWS Elemental MediaTailor lets video providers insert individually targeted advertising into their video streams without sacrificing broadcast-level quality-of-service. AWS Elemental MediaTailor ensures that the entire stream – video and ads – is delivered with broadcast-grade video quality. That, combined with the fact advertisements will be relevant, keeps viewers much more engaged and helps increase return for advertisers.

API Integration with AWS Elemental MediaTailor ensures Insys’ customers can seamlessly insert pre-roll, mid-roll or post-roll advertisements, so before the start, in the middle of it or at the end of their live or on-demand streams. The duration of the advertisement can be defined as part of the AWS Elemental MediaTailor configuration. Ad impressions and viewing behavior are accurately measured across the web, iOS, Android, and other connected viewing devices, enabling video service providers to adapt their offerings for maximum results.

AWS Elemental MediaTailor can be used with any of Insys Video Technolgies’ solutions or delivered as part of a customized service. The application backend is built on AWS, ensuring a fully cloud-based end-to-end workflow. The entire Insys video workflow includes API integration with the AWS Elemental Media Services, enabling access to a complete set of tools for cloud-based video processing and delivery.
