Olympique Lyonnais (OL), one of the most successful football clubs in France from the Ligue 1 Uber Eats football division, has launched a brand-new version of its over-the-top (OTT) streaming service, OLPLAY.
OLPLAY includes access to the 24/7 live channel with an EPG and a premium VOD library. The interface has undergone a complete graphical overhaul to give the platform a fresh, modern look and provide an excellent user experience. The web player and the VOD catalog have also become more intuitive to use. The viewers can choose from two subscription models: monthly or annual (with a 40% discount). The application is available for web browsers, Android TV, and Google Chromecast.
Insys Video Technologies was the force behind the implementation of OLPLAY. The platform is based on Insys Sport, a solution targeted at sports clubs, organizations, and broadcasters with sport transmission rights. It offers the highest level of content protection and multiple monetization options.
“As an experienced OTT provider, the Insys Video Technologies team has prepared a solution based on the AWS Cloud that provides secure and scalable infrastructure,” said Krzysztof Bartkowski, CEO at Insys Video Technologies. “With Insys Sport, we help our customers increase fan engagement and share the powerful stadium emotions by broadcasting their sports video content online.”
The Olympique Lyonnais family includes the following teams: Masculin Pro, Feminin Pro, OL Reign, LDLC ASVEL, LDLC ASVEL Feminin, LDLC OL, Reserve N2, U19, U17.
