Accedo Broadband introduces App Store for IPTV
Thursday, September 3rd, 2009STOCKHOLM — Accedo Broadband today announced the release of the Accedo App Store for IPTV.
The App Store functionality allows consumers to access their favourite IPTV applications directly in the living room with a remote control. The user interface and branding of the store can be completely customised to seamlessly blend in with service provider and broadcaster user interfaces.

The App Store follows Accedo’s multiplatform strategy and is available for integration with all major IPTV middlewares and platforms. Applications can be made available to end users free of charge, as a subscription or a one-off fee. The App Store makes full use of the features of the Accedo Application Provisioning Solution, including Dynamic Content Rendering, Statistics and Usage History, Application Recommendations, Promotional Support, Accedo EasyPay and more.

Accedo will present the Accedo App Store and a selection of applications at Accedo’s stand #621 in the IPTV Zone at IBC in Amsterdam September 11-15.
