248,000 pay TV subscribers added in Chile in 2009

Chile’s Subsecretaría de Telecomunicaciones (Subtel) has releases pay TV statistics for 2009. During the year satellite subscribers increased from 570,000 to 670,000, whereas wired (cable TV and IPTV) subscribers grew from 892,000 to 1.039 million.
