Tata Sky passes 6 million subscriber mark

Tata Sky has said that it now has more than six million subscribers to its direct-to-home (DTH) satellite TV service in India.

Tata Sky is a joint venture between the Tata Group with 80% and News Corporation’s STAR (NASDAQ: NWS, NWSA; ASX: NWS, NWSLV) with 20%. The service launched in 2006.
