Go Malta Chooses Minerva Networks for Next Generation Television Services

Minerva Will Help Deliver Broadcast TV, VOD & Internet TV for Incumbent Malta Telecom Operator

Minerva Networks, the leading provider of carrier-class solutions for the delivery of television services over broadband networks, today announced that GO p.l.c. in Malta has selected its platform to offer broadcast TV, video-on-demand and over-the-top (OTT) television services for up to 100,000 subscribers.

Go Malta will use Minerva’s carrier software called xTVFusion to help manage the IP delivery of next generation television services to multiple devices including set-top boxes, personal computers and smart mobile phones. New features include network digital video recording (nDVR), pausing and restarting live TV programs, and Catch-up TV.
