TORONTO — ViXS Systems Inc., a leading provider of smart network multimedia processors, announced today that Conax has certified XCode® 4210 for the set-top box market. The XCode 4210 set-top box processor from ViXS integrates an advanced security architecture and content protection including the latest technology from Conax, a global leader in security solutions for content delivery and broadcasting.
The XCode 4210 multimedia processor system-on-chip (SOC), already introduced in the market and in production now with customers, uniquely combines state-of-the-art set-top box technology with ViXS’ patented encoding and transcoding technology providing the ability of content mobility in addition to high performance advanced set-top box functionalities.
