NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE & IP&TV World Forum, LONDON — Netgem (Paris: NTG FP 7537; ETGM), a leader in connected home entertainment solutions, today announced its latest TV solution for Broadband Operators.

Capitalizing on Netgem recently announced nCloud software suite and the just released new hardware platform (N7700), it brings to market the most cost efficient and evolutive TV solution for Broadband Operators.

This solution has been built with the objective of enabling Broadband Operators to increase ARPU and reduce churn on their customer base, by delivering a rich, innovative and cost effective TV service to their customers, combining Live TV, PVR, VOD, Internet video services and personal content on the main TV screen, with an option to offer an extended social TV service on tablet.

The underlying N7700 hardware is equipped with the latest cost optimized SoC from Broadcom (NASDAQ: BRCM), with enough resources for a multi-year software roadmap, including 3D user interface and games.

By combining cloud based services and cost optimized hardware, Netgem offers Broadband Operators a very scalable model and a high Return on Investment.

“The Telecom landscape is rapidly changing, with Operators under intense competitive and financial pressure. We have put in this new IPTV solution our 16 years of focus on Television Solutions for the Broadband Industry. This solution fits perfectly Operators looking for a first entry into the video and television service space, to whom we can bring our experience in successful large scale deployments. We also believe we can help more established players, with already deployed competing solutions, who can find an answer to their evolution problems.” added Christophe Aulnette, Chief Executive Officer of Netgem.

This solution is also available as software only solution for Operators with large deployed installed base.
