New Partnership with Top Global Middleware Provider Adds Excpetional New Capabilities in IPTV and OTT Services to the Dune HD Product Line
LAS VEGAS, NV — Today at the NAB Show 2012, Dune HD, GmbH, maker of high quality, high performance digital media players, announces a new partnership with Nordija, a leading global provider of sophisticated Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and video-on-demand services, to add new interactive TV features and performance to the Dune HD product line. Nordija enhances the IPTV and over-the-top (OTT) services available through Dune HD devices, with the power of Nordija on display at NAB 2012 this week. The first Dune HD media players with Nordija’s capabilities are expected to launch within the first half of this year.
With the integration of Dune HD devices with Nordija’s fokusOn middleware, customers will experience fast navigation and an efficient and cost-effective solution easily deployed for delivering advanced interactive services. Nordija’s middleware unites the popularity of linear television with the breadth of the Internet, making it easy to instantly search and enjoy popular TV programs through an intuitive program guide. With the integration of fokusOn, Dune HD devices will have options for expanded live, VOD programming, and more.
