South Africa pay TV households to reach 5.9 million by 2016

According to PricewaterhouseCoopers’ South African Entertainment and Media Outlook 2012-2016 Report, pay TV households in South Africa are set to grow from 3.7 million in 2011 to 5.9 million by 2016 – with subscription television then reaching a TV household penetration rate of 81.4%.
The third edition of PwC’s South African Entertainment and Media Outlook presents annual historical data for 2007-2011 and provides annual forecasts for 2012-2016 in 12 entertainment and media segments.
