Digital TV in Lithuania up 18% year-on-year at end 3Q 2012

The Communications Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania (ryšių reguliavimo tarnyba – RRT) has released statistics for the Lithuanian Communications Sector in the third quarter of 2012.
At the end of the quarter the number of subscribers to digital television services totalled 374.8 thousand. The figure was made up of 115.1 thousand subscribers to cable and MMDS, 96.6 thousand subscribers to IPTV, 73.6 thousand subscribers to digital terrestrial and 89.5 thousand subscribers to satellite television networks.
Year-on-year the number of digital pay-TV subscribers has increased by 18 percent, and versus the previous quarter by 3%.
