LAS VEGAS, Nev. — SENSIO Technologies Inc. (“SENSIO”) (TSX Venture Exchange Inc.: SIO), the inventor of the SENSIO®3D technology, presents the first complete HD 3D solution that allows consumers to view stereoscopic 3D content while sitting in their own living rooms. A first at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES), the movies Meet The Robinsons and Nightmare Before Christmas will be displayed on HD 3D LCD and DLP televisions with the SENSIO®3D technology.

SENSIO presents, in the HDMI booth located in the TechZone, two Disney movies, Meet The Robinsons and Nightmare Before Christmas, with a Blu-Ray player on a DLP television.

In the SENSIO suite

Exclusively in the SENSIO suite at the Flamingo, content provided directly from studios can be seen on DLP or LCD HDTV, such as Disney movies Meet The Robinsons and Nightmare Before Christmas. In addition, JVC’s 2D to 3D conversion technology integrated to that of SENSIO®3D, may also been seen on an LCD television.

With SpectronIQ

Television maker SpectronIQ is also presenting the SENSIO®3D technology at the Mandalay Bay. In fact, the manufacturer’s brand new 3D television was the object of an agreement last fall in connection with the integration of the SENSIO®3D technology.

“We are very happy with the reaction of manufacturers, some of which allow us to present our technology in their booths, as well as that of studios who generously provided us with content to present. We have been building relationships for eight years now with both the manufacturers and the studios, as our technology truly bridges these two entities. We are at the heart of 3D and working with key industry players to position ourselves as a global standard,” explains Nicholas Routhier, President and CEO.

Emerging 3D

For the very first time, all conditions appear to be in place for 3D to conquer consumers for good. On the one hand, manufacturers are falling into step to present their new 3D television intended for the consumer market and on the other hand, studios also are ready to invest in the production of 3D movies, with a list of twenty or so 3D movies to come before 2010. With the SENSIO technology, the chain is now complete so that 3D can become accessible to all!
